Dr. Hariri performs a wide array of shoulder and knee non-operative procedures and surgeries to address injuries such as meniscus tears, rotator cuff tears, shoulder impingement, and knee osteoarthritis.
She offers a range of non-operative treatment options for knee arthritis including directed physical therapy, cortisone injections, and hyaluronic acid (“gel”) injections.
While she does not perform total knee replacement surgery, Dr. Hariri frequently consults with patients considering total knee replacement to educate them about the preoperative workup, the surgery itself, and the recovery. She believes it is important that patients – and their families - fully understand the procedures that they are contemplating. An informed and educated patient can best participate in their own successful recovery. She can refer you to a local knee replacement surgeon who best fits your needs.
